Maj Gen Yash Mor is a distinguished third-generation Army officer hailing from Haryana. He completed his schooling at Rashtriya Military School, Bangalore, where he actively participated in debating, dramatics, and sports. Commissioned in one of the oldest Infantry Battalions of the Indian Army in 1985, he excelled in various sports, represented the country as a Peace Keeper in Mozambique, and earned academic accolades, including an MSc in Defence & Strategic Studies and a PhD in Nuclear Doctrine and Strategy.

Throughout his military career, Maj Gen Yash Mor demonstrated exceptional leadership in counter-terrorism operations in Punjab and J&K, earning awards for gallantry. He served as an instructor at Staff College, Wellington, and held key roles in strategic planning. Post-retirement, he continues to contribute actively, serving as the CEO of 'Save the Himalayas Foundation' and dedicating his "Second Innings for the First Innings" by engaging with the youth through his rapidly growing YouTube channel and mentoring over two lakh students.
