Report on Trekking Program

Dear Learners of JAIN Online, we are very happy to announce that our first outbound trekking trip was a grand success. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip.

As rightly said by Edmund Hillary, “It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves”.

Engage hosted the trekking trip for all the learners of JAIN Online for the first time. Learners were very excited to join this trek. Participants reached the boarding point by 06:00 AM and started the journey to the destination (Sholay Hills). During the journey, we also shot the travel vlog while travelling. 

Once we reached the destination, the Trek Instructor (Som, Naveen and Sid) gave the participants the Do’s & Don’ts of trekking. After that general instructions were given to the participants and the warm-up activities were done before the trek. Participants also had their breakfast. 

Around 09:30 AM, participants started the trekking of Ramnagar Hill. It was an amazing experience, for many participants this was their first trekking trip. While trekking all the participants were coordinating and communicating among themselves. Participants shot pictures at the peak of the mountain. At 12:30 PM, we completed the trek without any obstacles, and also did a rain dance before having lunch.

At 01:00 PM, all the participants did a group lunch and enjoyed a lot. It was raining in the afternoon; nevertheless, participants danced in the rain and had lots of fun.

In the evening around 03:30 PM, we had a zip-line activity where all the participants did this activity with energy & enthusiasm. We also had snacks & tea after completing the zip-line activity. This was the final activity of the Trekking trip after that all the participants spoke about the whole trekking trip and how they enjoyed the whole trip.   

Overall the whole trek was a great trip, with 40 learners of JAIN Online.
